PRoject Scheduler

Location:  Edmonton (Permanent, Full-Time)

Our client is looking to add a Project Scheduler to their team. In this role, you’ll support the planning and execution of large-scale utility and EPC projects, helping field and project teams stay aligned on deliverables, milestones, and risk. You’ll develop and maintain project schedules, anticipate challenges, and provide the visibility needed to keep work moving efficiently and safely.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone ready to take the next step in their project controls or scheduling career - with strong mentorship and exposure to major, high-visibility infrastructure programs.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules in Primavera P6 of MS Project.
  • Integrate updates from estimating, engineering, procurement, and field operations to ensure accuracy and accountability
  • Track progress, forecast impacts, and identify schedule risks before they become issues
  • Coordinate with construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors to confirm sequencing and milestone alignment
  • Facilitate planning and coordination meetings with project managers and discipline leads
  • Analyze data for critical path, earned value, and performance tracking
  • Prepare clear, actionable schedule reports and look-aheads for both internal and client-facing updates
  • Support baseline development, resource loading, and “what-if” scenarios to optimize project outcomes

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2–5 years of scheduling or project coordination experience, ideally within utility construction, EPC, or T&D environments.
  • Strong understanding of project lifecycles from estimating and procurement to execution and close-out.
  • Working knowledge of scheduling software (Primavera P6 preferred, MS Project acceptable).
  • Comfort working with technical drawings, work breakdown structures, and field data.
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.

Why This Opportunity

You’ll be part of a team that builds critical infrastructure across North America, with access to major projects, mentorship from senior planners, and the chance to grow into a senior scheduling or project controls role over time.
